We Say: A rare and super heavily-peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich. 

Age: 5 Years In American Oak & Rhone Valley Syrah Casks. Bottled 2015 

Style: Single Malt peated un-chill filtered and colouring free.

Nose: Smoke & Fire

Palate: Earthy Peat & Dark Red Fruits. Nice combination. The Syrah casks are noticeable but do not overpower the other Aromas. Quite pleasant all in all with a mix of Fruity, Sweet, Sour and Salty notes. 

Finish: Sweet, long and lingering. Ashes and wine for the first stretch, then caramel and fruit drops on top of smoky embers.
