Slane Irish Whiskey Special Edition

We say: This is one of a handful of releases from Slane where they have “dialled up” the Sherry cask. So we are always excited by this distillery as it is in close proximity to our shop and we enjoy a great relationship with Alex Cunningham. This is an homage to 40 years of gigs in Slane and has its own Spotify playlist. We will always have the latest releases and be watching out over the years to coke as this distillery blossoms. 

Style: Cask strength blend with an increased amount of virgin casks to go with the seasoned Sherry casks. 

Alc.: 45%  

Nose: Bold toasted oak and some vanilla spice with a hint of orchard fruit.

Taste: Toasted marshmallow and rich dark fruits with layers of oak.

Finish: Warm and lingering with the sweet flavours of smouldering wood.
