The Nikka Tailored

We Say: An absolutely fabulous blend from Nikka in limited quantities and well worth the price. Tailored brings together a core of malted barley from the Miyagiko and Yoichi distilleries, along with Coffey still grain whisky.

Age: Ex bourbon barrels.

Nose: Fresh stone fruit, with nectarine and dried apricot supported by waxy peels, touches of citrus and a dusting of cocoa.

Palate: Initially sweet and buttery, with baked custard tarts balanced by orange marmalade and bitter dark chocolate.

Finish: Roasted coffee bean, fresh apple and vanilla pod linger.
